Description
The RSDAS service is partially merging websites and systems with Dundee satellite receiving station ( http://www.sat.dundee.ac.uk/). As part of this, there are likely to be some changes to the authentication systems, which may have an effect on NDG security. The planned timeframe for this to happen is September.

- Status changed from new to assigned
The RSDAS service at PML and Dundee Satellite Receiving Station have now merged as 'NEODAAS' and launched the new combined service and website ( http://www.neodaas.ac.uk) as planned in September. However, the authentication system has not changed yet to allow the merging of Dundee and RSDAS user permissions. It seems likely that the eventual system will not be greatly different from the current RSDAS one. So NDG should go with the current authentication system at PML, with the expectation/hope of only minor changes over the next 6 months.
What is the status of this?
