[M] Set up moles schema location

Reported by: ko23 Owned by: ko23
Priority: critical Milestone: ALPHA
Component: MOLES Version:
Keywords: Cc:

Description (last modified by selatham) (diff)

Kev says:- Could you please move two copies of MOLES 1.2.4 schema to ndg.nerc.ac.uk? They should have the URLs:

http://ndg.nerc.ac.uk/moles/schemae/moles.xsd

this should be a pointer to the current version

http://ndg.nerc.ac.uk/schemae/moles_1.2.4.xsd

note the underscore "moles_1"

This should make life easier for some...

Change History

  • Status changed from new to assigned

We already have a 'schemas' area with things like dif9.4, numsim in. Does it have to go in 'schemae'?

Can now be found at http://ndg.nerc.ac.uk/schema/moles_1.2.4.xsd. Working on link to current (presumably the one in subversion).

Kev, Where will the location of the 'current' schema be?  http://proj.badc.rl.ac.uk/viewsub/viewvc.cgi/ndg/TI07-MOLES/trunk/v1Schema/Schemae/

Or

 http://proj.badc.rl.ac.uk/viewsub/viewvc.cgi/ndg/TI07-MOLES/trunk/v1Schema/Schemae/moles.xsd (doesn't currently exist).

Or something else?

What if your ndgmetadata1.2.3.xsd etc versions were in separate tagged directories, then whatever's in say /ndg/TI07-MOLES/trunk/Schema is the latest development version.

Does 'current' mean the latest development copy, which could be unstable, or something else?

  • Status changed from new to closed
  • Resolution set to fixed

1) Current = "last tagged". These are to be seen by the outside world, and so the "latest and gratest (sic)" shouldn't be available to them.

2) See C:\Documents and Settings\ko23\Desktop\NDG Subversion repository\TI07-MOLES\tags\Schemae

Cheers,

Kev
