Anyone know (or have a quick way of checking) if the ISO19139 schema posted at:

 http://eden.ign.fr/xsd/isotc211/index_html?set_language=en&cl=en

is in line with the versions around in NDG?

think so ... there are some very slight differences but none that you'd notice in terms of documents exchanged (more in terms of where the schema is physically located that you import) ... (I vaguely remember using that first, then moving to Simon's version, and only having a couple of changes along those lines).

Decided to go with xquery ... since it's going to be fairly isomorphic to the DIF one that exists in bulkDE ...

I have (at long last and possibly motivated by Modday's MEDI SC meeting) had a close look at the ISO19115 Marine Profile (1.1 01/05/2006). A summary of the changes from 'vanilla' plus my feelings have been attached to this ticket. Let me have any reactions as and when. What is abundantly clear is that we are a long way away from something that can be rubber-stamped as the IOC accepted profile next week, so this may take some time.....

Bulkde and returnmoles will now return a minimum ISO 19115 record, which is valid according to 19139, from MOLES.

I think we have the code. Now specific problems should be reported in their own tickets.
