I have modified the trac.ini file to make the ticket system only assign tickets to users who have logged in and set an email address. However, I have yet to find out whether they are emailed. This task will test that.

Current status is that no email seem to be going anywhere.

Ok, now we have email going to an always cc that isn't the ndg mailng list, but it's coming from oin.rl.ac.uk. See if we can make that badc ...

That last email was sent when I modified the description etc. but when I put the last comment in, nothing was sent/logged.

NB: this doesn't appear on active tickets. Is it because there is no milestone?

Yes, it appears that for a ticket to be visible as active, it needs to be tagged with a milestone!

Ok, I think it should work now. The ticket owner, and the ticket reporter should get copies of email.
