Changes for Beta

  • Installation of python packages will be from an egg
  • MyProxy installed on separate host as before, but clients to MyProxy i.e. the host running the Session Manager don't need MyProxy installed: a python client replaces this code.
  • Python web services will running under Twisted. The Session Manager will run over https.
  • Python web services use WS-Security and so it may now be possible for data providers to write clients to NDG-Security WSs in other languages esp. Java.
