a) Using Input File Paths parameter

For example, you can paste in the following paths:

/badc/cmip5/data/cmip5/output1/IPSL/IPSL-CM5A-LR/1pctCO2/mon/ocean/Omon/r1i1p1/v20120114/pr/pr_Omon_IPSL-CM5A-LR_1pctCO2_r1i1p1_185001-198912.nc
/badc/cmip5/data/cmip5/output1/IPSL/IPSL-CM5A-LR/1pctCO2/day/atmos/day/r1i1p1/latest/pr/pr_day_IPSL-CM5A-LR_1pctCO2_r1i1p1_18500101-19891231.nc

This requires you to know the exact path of the CMIP5 files you want to use.

b) Using File Group URL parameter

You should paste in the URL address of a XML file containing the paths of the CMIP5 files you want to use, for example:

http://ceda-wps2.badc.rl.ac.uk/dl/0/2750858955e76a8a97525d8a16061e2a/cmip5_file_group.xml

The best way to produce this file is by using the process called Select CMIP5 Files or the process called Select CMIP5 File Group .

c) Using "With File Selection" named processes.

In these processes the user only needs to select CMIP5 files from a set of models and ensemble members for a given experiment, variable and time period and then submit the job.
